Life is hard. There is no getting around it. No matter who you are or what your station in life is, life is hard. There will always be pain and loss. People will always let you down. You will always make mistakes. People will hurt you and you will hurt them.

The world is not as it was designed to be. The world was originally an eternal place of joy and peace. In time, God will set all things right and we will have the world as it was supposed to be. Until then, we have the solace of love. This is my gift of love to the world.

Dedication

This site is dedicated to the hurting people of the world. Pain cascades. Hurt people hurt people. Pain is passed from generation to generation. We look to others to ease our pain and complete our emptiness. Imperfect people can never fill the void inside us. Since other people are imperfect and hurting like we are, they can never end our pain. Instead, they hurt us more, even if it is unintentional. So, looking to others cannot end the pain. We have to look elsewhere.

Love

Of all the evils in this world, the worst is how much we have misrepresented and misunderstood God. He is not a harsh and cruel deity, basking in our suffering and waiting for the day that He can send us to eternal torment. God grieved when we turned away from Him. He knew what would happen to His creation. He suffers with us. Every broken bone, every shattered life, every tormented cry, every life cut short... He endures it all along with us. As much pain as we cause Him, He still loves us.

 

The day will come when He will return and set all things right. In that day we will all see Him as He really is. He will gather us into His arms, heal all our wounds and banish evil forever. Daddy, I long to be with you more than anything. You healed me. You took care of me. And you loved me when I was unlovable. Everything I am, everthing I have and all I will ever be, belongs to you.
